Franchising Success
“Franchisees must be excellent ‘business drivers’, not passengers or spectators”
Having presented to and consulted for organizations such as ‘Bakers Delight’, ‘Price Attack’, ‘McDonalds’, ‘Pizza Hut’, etc., John Lees is very familiar with the franchising challenge.
COURSE #1 (for Franchisees)
How to Drive a Franchise to Success
(available as a half-day or one full day course)
|
If
franchising could be thought of as being like a racing car team, such
as Ferrari or Williams, then the team owner must see to it that the car
is made more competitive each year, plus provide a pit crew to support
the efforts of the driver. In the case of franchising, the franchisor
obviously aims to make the franchise business model better every year
and must also provide a support team…but the franchisees must learn to
be excellent drivers of the franchise businesses. This presentation
shows franchisees how to drive business in four key areas:
- Driving customers - covering all aspects of service, selling, local marketing, etc., to the point where the franchise develops very
happy customers…and not just 'happy customers'. Happy customers are
satisfied with the transaction process and very happy customers are
satisfied with the transaction process… plus they achieve better
results every time they do business with the franchise, and so they
will remain loyal and send more customers to the business!
- Driving staff
- addressing issues such as recruiting the best people, setting
standards, running good meetings, training and rewarding staff in
simple ways, leading and getting the most of out the franchise team…to
the point of team success
- Driving results
- featuring insights and ideas on how to 'control’ sales performance,
especially during difficult 'external' economic conditions…by using
simple 'internal' planning concepts and aiming for potential and not
just budgets
- Driving yourself
- offering a range of ideas and tools for the franchisee to stay
self-motivated and to ensure continuous personal and professional
development…while achieving a balanced life on the personal and
business fronts
This training course can be featured as a keynote conference presentation,
emphasising key needs agreed during the briefing sessions, or as a half
or full day training session at a conference or as a stand alone event.
This training course is based on the book of the same name by John Lees |
